My name is Robert John Lennon. I was born in Virginia, but I would hesitate to call myself Southern. Besides there, I've lived in Louisiana, Guam, Victoria, and finally the Bay Area in California. I am an American Mutt, with Irish, English, Scots, and if you believe some of my ancestors, "Indian Nobles".
I simplify this to Irish-American. It makes things easier.
I am a high school graduate as of June 6th, 2007. I am currently a student at the College of Saint Benedict/Saint John's University, about 15 minutes from St. Cloud, Minnesota. I am a History major with Philosophy minor.
For hobbies, I read, write, practice Wado Kai Karate(Wado Ryu is pretty much the same style), and game(both tabletop and computer). As of June 1st, I am a 1st-degree Black Belt, along with my good friend Aliothsan.
Music-wise, I run the gamut from obscure Celtic Rock/Fusion(Clann Zu and Peatbog Faeries), to Soundtracks(Battlestar Galactica), to Hip-Hop(Captain Dan & the Scurvy Crew). Add to this my deep love of rock, and as long as it's good, I'll probably listen to it. I do my best to tell as many people as I can of the more foreign bands I listen to, mostly Australian. Something For Kate, Cog, Mark Seymour, and the like. If you've ever heard of Post-Rock, then I am a huge fan of Godspeed You! Black Emperor, A Silver Mt. Zion, and Explosions In the Sky.
Livejournal is useful, and despite the stereotypes, I've yet to run into many Emo teenagers.
